It's been hot lately.

Unseasonal heat is killing us.

The only reason I even know about "rainy season" is because it happens in Harvest Moon. Go figure, a video game taught me something.

Don't forget, Michigan has tornadoes. Those are pretty destructive and scary. We may not have as many as other states, but there have been several that have hit close to Lansing. And when I was a kid, one took out a barn at my Grandmother's house and could easily have killed her. A row of pine trees stopped the barn roof from smashing into her house.

So, what is "Spring" weather like? I want to know how to pack!!

Well I don't consider tornadoes to be extreme weather for some reason. True, they are destructive, but I thought almost everywhere has them and ice storms are much more interesting. But you're probably right.

Spring here is much like spring in Michigan. It's not usually warm enough to sit outside comfortably. We probably have global warming to thank for that because the Japanese are always unhappy about how unusually cold it is. Once the cheery blossoms open up it gets comfortable though. So I'd pack for normal spring weather.

And if it happens that the weather is weird my clothes will fit you well enough.
